Dear Parents,
Welcome to 3rd Grade at Jenny Lind School in room 216! With all of us working together, there is no limit to what each child can learn. We have used our class web page to learn about animals. Your child can show you how to use our website. Help your child to memorize their addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts every night at home. A class letter like this will be sent home every week during the school year. Please look for it and send notes back with a question if you have any. This is our class website, so visit our class website and send me an email so I can communicate with you using email.
Every week your child will receive their homework packet on Monday - to be turned in on Friday. There is a spelling
Picture retakes will be Monday, November 5. Information on that was sent hom last week..
On the right you can find sections on different topics related to our school and class including a page about me. Please communicate with me all year at : paul.herlofsky@mpls.k12.mn.us. Please encourage your child to find a place at home to read independently for 15- 20 minutes every night, and fill out their Weekly Reading slip. Your child will have an additional 10 - 15 minutes of homework every night, usually math. Please look for it and ask to see it every night except for Fridays.
