Our classrooms are always full of learning. Along with our daily hard work in our reading, math, science, social studies, etc., we have some field trips planned. We are planning to visit
  • Mill City Museum
  • Orchestra Hall
  • Fishing at Medicine Lake
  • Minnesota Zoo
We hope to receive most of the money from grants to pay for our field trips. If not, we will let you know in plenty of time how much it costs. Look for Weekly Reports and be sure to contact us at any time to work together to help your child learn. Be sure to check the name of your child's teacher on the right and visit their web page to find out more about your child's classroom.
Room 220 We have completed our Word-A-Days for the habitat topic of forests. Students are working on the project that includes all the words from this unit. The next habitat topic is fresh water words. Structures of life is the science unit we have been working on recently. Plant life cycles are part of this study. Crayfish were also observed. Bess Beetles should arrive soon. Students are working in small reading groups one hour a day. Some students are being trained on how to read and work with a first grade student. Multiplication is our math focus as of now. Please start to work with your child on the multiplication facts.
