Jenny Lind Elementary School is a community school in the Lind-Bohanon-Camden neighborhood. We partner with our families and our neighborhood to support our academically and culturally diverse students in reaching their full potential.
On May 29th, 2013 the 4th grade Orchestra students traveled to General Mills headquarters in Golden Valley to play a concert for the employees.
Jenny Lind held it's science fair on April, 19th. This year's theme was STEAM, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathemeatics.
The Minnesota Elementary School Principals' Association (MESPA) recognized Princapal Wharton-Beck with the 2012 MESPA Division Leadership Achievement Award.
The Community Academic Series is our way of reaching out to parents, volunteers, and community members who want a better idea of what's being taught in the schools and how they can better work with students.

This wonderful program gave us 36 quality string instruments for our students to use. School principal, Aura Wharton Beck has the vision for all students in first through fourth grade to play a string instrument. Read more.
