About Ms. Fidelman

Hello my name is Davida Fidelman and I am the kindergarten teacher in room 105. I am very excited to be apart of the Jenny Lind community. This will be my second year teaching Kindergarten in the Minneapolis school district. I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. I currently hold an Elementary Education license (k-6th) and a Pre-Primary endorsement (age 3 to k). I have a passion for making school fun and comfortable for all students and at the same time inspiring them towards academic excellence. I look forward to having a wonderful school year with your student.

When I am not teaching you can usually find me hanging out with my family and friends. I love to read and play games.  I am an avid camper and hiker. I especially enjoy spending time at my cabin kayaking around the lake. 

The best way to reach me is by email, however feel free to send in notes with your student. Starting the week of September 4th your student will be bringing home a communication folder. This folder will get sent home every Wednesday and it is to be brought back to school by the following Wednesday. This folder will contain student work and office news. Some papers will get to stay home, while others will need to be returned to school.  This will help to eliminate your child having to bring home papers every day. Please help your child to return this folder every week!!! Homework hearts will be sent home every night. Homework calendars will be sent home once a month.
