Sandy Lynch

My name is Sandy Lynch. I am the Licensed School Nurse at Jenny Lind. This is my fifth year as a school nurse, serving students and families that are part of the Jenny Lind school community. I have been a pediatric nurse for 26 years. My experience includes working with children and families receiving kidney, liver and small bowel (gut) transplants, providing care for children in their homes and then working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for many years. I graduated from Anoka Ramsey Community College as a Registered Nurse (RN) in 1992, I then attended Bethel University where I acheived my Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1998. I then attended the U of MN School of Nursing, graduating in 2005 with a Master's degree in Critical Care Pediatric Nursing. I am certified as a Peditric Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS). After 21 years of working in the acute care environment, I chose to try school nursing. I discovered a whole new adventure in nursing practice working with children in the school environment. I love working with and serving your children in the school setting! This is truly the best
